Page 1 of 3 As good as the Grand Theft Auto Liberty and Vice City Stories are on the PSP, they did have times when you just wanted to skip some of the more mundane missions where had you to work as a delivery boy. As much as it was engrossing to bask in the gangster storylines, what most of us really wanted was action.
This is where Chilli Con Carnage steps in. The game’s premise is based around the protagonist – Ramiro Cruz, known throughout the game as ‘Ram’ – who is keen to avenge the assassination of his father. The elder Cruz was so crudely run over by a combine harvester in the games opening scenes you can imagine any loyal son avenging his death by embarking on a killing spree. The plot, as such as it is, is merely an excuse for all out ‘spicy’ action, but in the case of Chilli Con Carnage that is no bad thing. Although the game’s mission objectives and routes are fairly linear this does not detract from the fun. If you liked the shooting bits in the GTA series, then this game has all the shooting, explosions and stylish killing you can ask for.
