HD LCD flat-screen TV’s and games consoles will ensure that hi-def will eventually rule all, in the same way that widescreen has taken over. But one area you might not expect to hear about high-definition is video-phones.

iPod familyPoor old Apple . It seems everyone is queuing up to have a go at the digital rights management software in iTunes these days. Consumer groups in Finland, Germany and France have already had a pop about the fact that  movies and songs bought using iTunes won't work on anything other than an iPod.
