Windows Malware shipped on Video iPods

Apple has admitted that a number of Video iPods have been shipped containing Windows malware. In a statement on its website, Apple confirmed that some Video iPods available for purchase after 12 September 2006 left the company’s contract manufacturer carrying the RavMonE.exe malicious file.

Traxdata HD DVD-R first to hit UK shelves

Traxdata has launched the first recordable HD DVD disc into the UK market, with the discs going on sale in shops and online. Carrying up to 15GB, the discs will let PC users with a high-definition recordable drive backup their hours of video, albums full of photos, music collections, software and any other data.

Guitar Hero Shredder A metal-clad Shredder may have attacked the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but now a very different Shredder is launching its own assault on fans of Guitar Hero. The Shredder is the first third-party controller to be released for the cord-ripping musical game.
