Nintendo has added a news service to its choice of free content channels on the Wii, so gamers can keep up with what’s going on in the world. The on-demand news from Associated Press gives users a brief update for their current location and allows them to select and navigate a 3D Globe to check the latest headlines anywhere in the world.

With the number of high definition camcorders on the market growing all the time, JVC
has unveiled what it claims to be the world's first full HD camcorder. The
new HD Everio GZ-HD7 camcorder will be available in the US this April
for around $1,800 and is capable of shooting and recording full HD
images (1920 by 1080i), this it said will be the first camcorder to be
available to comsumers and has a Fujinon lens which is used in
broadcast video cameras.

Since then the newest console from Nintendo has been subject to a range of modifications from glowing Wiimote buttons to being able to fire toy missiles. But this Wii laptop ranks as one of the most impressive we’ve seen so far.
