Nintendo WiiNintendo has added a news service to its choice of free content channels on the Wii, so gamers can keep up with what’s going on in the world. The on-demand news from Associated Press gives users a brief update for their current location and allows them to select and navigate a 3D Globe to check the latest headlines anywhere in the world.

The new HD Everio GZ-HD7 camcorder will be available in the US this April for around $1,800 and is capable of shooting and recording full HD images (1920 by 1080i), this it said will be the first camcorder to be available to comsumers and has a Fujinon lens which is used in broadcast video cameras.
