Celebrity Big BrotherThe Carphone Warehouse has pulled its sponsorship from Celebrity Big Brother following a flood of complaints from viewers. Telecom watchdog Ofcom said it had received 27,000 complaints by Thursday afternoon over alleged racial abuse aimed at Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.

BT Vision Philips V-BoxBT has finally made good on its promise to launch a television service, and has focussed its attack on Sky’s army of football fans. The service was originally announced in April, with users expected to be up and running by the Autumn.
