Since then the newest console from Nintendo has been subject to a range of modifications from glowing Wiimote buttons to being able to fire toy missiles. But this Wii laptop ranks as one of the most impressive we’ve seen so far.

Fake PSP2 imagesBefore the unveiling of Apple’s iPhone, gadget hacks everywhere were salivating in anticipation of what it would eventually look like. Very soon mock ups surfaced on the net – most of which were not even close as it turned out. The same thing is now happening with the alleged Sony PSP2.

Bill GatesThe 10 million sales the Xbox 360 has racked up seem to have gone to Bill Gates' head, if quotes from an interview at CES are anything to go by. The Microsoft head honcho, who was talking to journalists after his keynote speech, blasted the rival consoles by saying Sony didn't know what it was doing and Nintendo's Wii lacks resolution.

Celebrity Big BrotherThe Carphone Warehouse has pulled its sponsorship from Celebrity Big Brother following a flood of complaints from viewers. Telecom watchdog Ofcom said it had received 27,000 complaints by Thursday afternoon over alleged racial abuse aimed at Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
 
Wii-death radio station sacks 10 staff

Jennifer StrangeA radio station has fired 10 staff after a contest to win a Wii games console ended with the death of a mother of three. Twenty-eight-year-old Jennifer Strange died from water intoxication after competing in the ‘Hold your wee for a Wii’ competition on a Sacramento radio station.
