The new increased memory unit will retail for £29.99 and as a treat for consumers will come with the Xbox Live Arcade game from Bizarre Creations - Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. But it seems gamers will have to move quickly as the offer is for a limited time only. The Game Developers Conference is the largest industry-only event in the gaming calendar. This year there will be over 350 lectures and discussions covering the gaming industry.

The 2007 conference will see Shigeru Miyamoto give a keynote address, the man who created Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda is himself seen as a legend by gaming fans worldwide. The President of Sony Computer Entertainment Phil Harrison is also expected to give a speech and according to rumours unveil a new Nintendo Wii-like feature called the 'Playstation Home'.
