Thrustmaster T-ChargeOK, so Thrustmaster sounds like a character from a spoof porn film making fun of superheroes. But the adult-sounding company could be the answer to your prayers if the kids are a little bit tough on your Wii accessories.

Thrustmaster has developed kit to protect, charge and tidy your Nintendo Wii.

“The Wii has totally revolutionised the way the consumer plays video games and has completely widened the demographic of those who enjoy them,” said a Thrustmaster spokesman.

“Thrustmaster has developed accessories to help gamers get the most from the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, therefore enhancing and extending play of this radical console to ensure the fun never stops.”

First up is the T-Protect NW, which is available in black and white and is designed to stop you throwing your Wii Remote or Nunchuck controller through the TV (or worse).

Its slick silicone casing offers better grip to prevent the controller from slipping from your hand and damaging your home.

Then there’s the T-Care NW storage stand, which hopes to answer the problem of gamers getting their wires crossed.

It slides discretely next to the Wii console and takes care of the Remote and a Nunchuk, with no wires left dangling.

The T-Care NW also comes with a set of silicone protectors (as mentioned above) for one Wii Remote and one Nunchuk.

Most useful in the eyes of addicted game junkies is the T-Charge NW.

Designed to stop the frustration caused by running short of batteries mid game, the T-Charge NW includes a charger for two rechargeable batteries.

This connects to your console’s USB port and lets you play using two charged batteries, while at the same time recharging the two other included batteries, ensuring the fun never stops!

It comes with a set of black silicone protectors for one Wii Remote and one Nunchuk, and four rechargeable R6 1600 mah batteries.

The T-Protect NW costs £7.99; the T-Care NW (available in white only) costs £11.99; the T-Charge NW (available in black only) sells for £19.99; or you can pick up a bundle including the whole lot for just £24.99.

The products are available from March at selected retailers including Game, Gamestation and Amazon.co.uk.
