There’s still no official date for a European launch of Sony’s PlayStation 3 console, but the nay-sayers who said it might be pushed back until the middle of the 2007 could be wrong.
According to the folks at GamesIndustry.biz, advertising company TBWA is expecting to roll out its marketing campaign for the PS3 on the 23 March. That means the beleaguered console should be launching around the same time. Even though Sony hasn’t announced an official European launch date since the original delay, it had always promised a March release. Sony is expected to finalise the launch date within the next two weeks, a source within the retail industry told GamesIndustry.biz. |
