We here at this illustrious publication love the new Wii, we also love
it for keeping us trim, so it is fantastic news that EA Sports could be
bringing Fight Night to the console.According to an interview with Fight Night Producer Michael Blank by Doghouseboxing.com, this is something that the copany is definitely considering. "We're talking about it right now," Blank told Doghouseboxing. "We're contemplating and we definitely feel there are some exciting things we can do with the Fight Night franchise and the Wii. When you play Wii Boxing it is a very simple experience and I think that is what they designed it to be just to let you know that you can throw punches." But rather than copy what Wii Sports has done with its boxing game and throwing better graphics into the mix, Blank said it is looking at putting in its own control system for the Wiimote. "With Fight Night we have an amazing simulation of Boxing and so we need to take those Wii controls and tailor it to what the Fight Night consumer might want to experience. We are looking at it right now and I am sure you will something some time in the future on the Wii," he said. He added that he wanted players to get a workout from playing the game. If it's really good, we're sure you'll lose pounds playing it. The Wii version looks set to be out with the Fight Night Round 4 edition. |
