Don’t be fooled by the headline, Goodmans isn’t taking old and tired portable DVD players out into the back yard and shooting them. Instead, it’s adding another slim and elegant model to its collection.
The Goodmans GDVD90W2 Portable DVD player offers a nine-inch active matrix TFT widescreen for a super clear picture. As it’s likely to be travelling around with you, the boffins have also built in shock protection to minimise skipping. The rechargeable battery only lasts for two-and-a-half hours – just shy of four episodes from American TV with the ad breaks cut out. But to make sure you don’t end up missing that cliffhanger at the end of Lost, Goodmans has ponied up a spare battery to keep your TV-fest going. Naturally, the package comes with an AC adapter, in-car adapter, leads to connect it to your TV and a remote control for ultimate laziness. The GDVD90W2 supports DVDs, CDs and Kodak picture discs and will set you back one penny less than £180. |
