As we saw with its cameras yesterday, Sony products are like girls going to the toilet – they don't turn up alone. So it's no surprise that the company has piggybacked the launch of the Walkman NW-E010 compact flash MP3 player onto this release. Available in black and pink, it includes an FM tuner and a super-quick charge function. Just how quick is it? Well a three minute charge from the USB connector gives you three hours playback, with a full hour charge delivering up to 30 hours of your favourite tunes.
The 1GB model is £60, with a black version with added tuner costing £65. The 2GB model is £70, with a black version with added tuner similarly adding another £5 to the price.
