Having already impressed us by producing the first unofficial controller for Guitar Hero, The Ant Commandos (TAC) have gone one better and released a version with 10 fret buttons. The patent-pending design allows players to crank out their favorite Guitar Hero tunes using the top five fret buttons, then pull in tight to the base of the guitar for a rocking solo using the five extra buttons.
Molded from TAC's Guitar Mania V series, the new axes offer FeatherTouch fret buttons, tighter whammy bars, and sleek black and white V shaped frames. And with a wireless version using 2.4GHz AutoSense technology, there’s no more yanking the gaming system to the ground when performing scissor kicks off the couch. However, even the wired version offers a little more freedom by extending the cord two-feet longer than any other guitar controller. And both guitars work with the original Guitar Hero game and the upcoming Guitar Hero II game.
