It might be difficult to believe (OK, it’s not that difficult, but run with us here) – electronics giant LG has never released a 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor in the UK. That all changes in April when the L245WP gets whacked onto British shelves.
LG says the screen on the L245WP is designed for both business and home users, who need a large, stylish widescreen that guarantees superior quality images and the ability to multitask different applications more effectively.
Crisp images come through its High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and the monitor bezel is a sleek, glossy black design, which LG reckons makes it the perfect accessory for any office or home.
“Nowadays, the pressure on people to increase productivity and work as efficiently as possible is greater than ever,” Louise Walsh, product manager at LG Electronics, told a press release today.
“Widescreen monitors are giving people the opportunity to multi-task more effectively as many applications, such as documents or browsers, can be viewed at the same time.”
“Convenience is key here and having a larger screen makes the endless flicking between applications a thing of the past.”
Spec fans can get their fill of the L245WP below:
* 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time
* 178-degree viewing angle and 500cd with Anti-Glare Panel
* HDMI, USB, and Component connections
* 2 x USB
* PIP functionality
* Pivot function
