Electronic Arts has already shouted about the next Sim City game, where you’ll get the ability to pimp your Sim, your town, even your individual rooms. But the fun doesn’t stop there. SimCity DS will also take control of unique features in the Nintendo DS to boost playability.
Want to put out fires across the city? Simply blow into the microphone. Need to sign a mayoral proclamation? Whip out your stylus and do just that. A “wireless data exchange” feature will also bring additional interactivity into the game, by enabling the players to communicate with each other. “The unique Nintendo DS functionalities inspired us to incorporate many new features to delight the most dedicated SimCity fans,” said Takahiro Murakami, producer of SimCity DS. “The game is filled with fun surprises that will appeal to new and existing fans of the franchise.” Murakami said the game also offers a wide array of recognisable international landmarks to spice up your city, as an added bonus to SimCity fans around the world. The product will make its debut worldwide in the summer.
