sbk07.jpgAnyone who likes to get their legs over the throbbing power of two wheels will be chomping at the bit when games publisher Blackbean finally releases its SBK-07 Superbike World Championship for the PS2, PSP, PC and Xbox 360 in April.

According to the producers of the game a PS3 version is also likely to be seen soon. ”We are going to think about a PS3 version, because we are just moving onto the next-generation consoles, starting with the Xbox 360 as it's similar to the PC,” a spokesman told Eurogamer magazine.

Anyway the game has all the official team (so none of those nearly sound alike teams you get in other games). As well as this there are 22 bikes and riders. The game will see players fight it out for pole position in four different game, including Quick Race, Race Weekend, Championship and Challenges.

A spokesman at Milestone Studios in Italy, who developed the game, told Absolute Gadget, "While the Race Team mechanics and technicians are tweaking their bikes to extract the last drop of power ahead of this year's championship, in Milestone studios the engineers are optimising bikes physics, acceleration and speed in order to deliver the SBK bike experience to race fans everywhere."

"All elements of the SBK universe have been faithfully recreated: riders, tracks, atmosphere, TV style replays, and much much more, including all the most beautiful Superbike Umbrella girls,” gushed a Blackbean spokesman. “The entire world of the most spectacular bike races in your game pad from April this year."
