Wii gamers are in for a real treat within the next couple of months thanks to Nintendo’s Virtual Console service. Some of the very best Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) games ever made – including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Street Fighter II and Super Mario World – will be available to satisfy your nostalgic desires.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Included among the 36 game roster is the classic shooter Super Probotector and fun racer Mario Kart 64. Sega fans won’t be let down either. Gamers can relive their pugilist past with the Sega Mega Drive’s Streets of Rage, arguably the best scrolling beat-em up of all time. Other Sega games such as Bonanza Brothers and Bio-Hazard Battle are also released at the same time. With many more classics still to be released for the Virtual Console, there is plenty to fill the void between new Wii releases. Games can be downloaded via the Wii Shop Channel and saved to the console's internal flash memory. Once they are added to the Wii's Channel Menu, they can be easily accessed at any time. |
